Position

David’s practice largely comprises acquisitions and disposals of businesses, fundraising activities, joint ventures, commercial contracts and advice on governance issues.  David acts for listed and privately owned companies in the UK, and for foreign corporations.  He is responsible for the firm’s relationships with some of its key clients.

Career

David was educated at Pocklington School and St Catharine’s College, Cambridge.  He was a partner at Eversheds from 1989 to 2008, and has been a partner at Schofield Sweeney from 2008 to date.

David has held a number of external appointments, which have given him much practical experience of corporate governance and managing stakeholder interests.
