Michael specialises in resolving complex and/or high-value commercial disputes.

Michael believes that the best way to achieve a good outcome for a client is by having a thorough and detailed understanding of both the client’s objectives and the relevant factual background. It is also important to identify commercial considerations and keep them firmly in mind as the case progresses.

He believes that legal action should be avoided if possible and will explore alternative methods of resolving the dispute such as mediation in order to avoid the cost and risk of litigation.

breach of contract and warranty claims; shareholder disputes; partnership disputes; directors’ duties; guarantees and indemnities; professional negligence; and ‘soft’ IP.
