Career
Sean W. Anderson is an associate in the Derivatives & Structured Products practice in New York covering bank finance, project finance, restructuring and insolvency, and structured products and derivatives. He advises sell-side, buy-side and exchange clients on the full range of derivatives, structured products, securitization, capital markets and commodities matters. In particular, he helps his clients structure and negotiate derivatives trading and related agreements, as well as develop policies and procedures with respect to implementation of post-GFC regulatory reforms.
Sean is also active in the firm’s FinTech Foundry program, which supports the FinTech-related activities of our clients and the wider global FinTech ecosystem including financial institutions, FinTech start-ups, accelerators and incubators, venture capital and private equity investors, and policymakers. In addition, he has contributed to the firm’s thought leadership across various aspects of digital asset, blockchain and big data developments, and he has also assisted in coordinating industry discussion on and development of derivatives trading and custody documentation in respect of digital assets.
