At A&O Shearman, Justin represents clients facing commercial litigation, from providing strategic pre-dispute advice through trial. He has over 15 years of experience representing clients in an array of matters, including commercial contract disputes, corporate governance litigation, bankruptcy adversary proceedings, shareholder derivative actions, antitrust litigation, and securities fraud suits. These disputes arise out of many client sectors, including banking, private equity, real estate, consumer products, and heavy manufacturing. Justin has represented clients in litigation before state and federal courts across the country, and before various arbitral bodies. His practice is cross-broader, and he has a wide range of experience representing foreign companies in U.S. litigations and handling matters with parallel civil and regulatory proceedings abroad. He maintains an active pro bono practice as well, serving on the firm’s pro bono committee, authoring numerous amicus briefs in proceedings before the U.S. Supreme Court and Circuit Courts of Appeal, and representing individuals in contentious proceedings against governmental entities.
