Ilya Dvorkin is a partner and the head of the Structured and Asset Finance practice in Russia. He is a recognised expert in the field of asset finance and acts for all of the leading players in the Russian and international aviation market. Ilya’s practice features a wide range of aircraft-financing matters, including pre-delivery payment financings, ECA financings, aircraft sale and purchase transactions, portfolio sales and leasing, as well as related Russian tax, customs and regulatory issues. Ilya was one of the first lawyers to successfully lead the repossession of aircraft from Russia on behalf of an international lessor. He represents major Russian and international aircraft lessors and banks on their restructurings, aviation related disputes and airline bankruptcy cases in Russia.
