Solicitor

I am a solicitor in the family team based in our South Shields office, but I also see clients in our Newcastle office.  I have over 17 years experience dealing exclusively in family law.

I have a wide-ranging knowledge and experience of family law, which makes me a well-respected solicitor in the region.  The majority of my clients come via personal recommendations.

In recent years I have become very interested in resolving family disputes in a more balanced and respectful way bringing  both parties together to discuss their differences without involving the court in  the process known as collaborative law.

I am a specialist in cases involving financial matters and pensions.  I also deal with cases involving arrangements for children , which can include where they live and how much time they spend with each parent or grandparent.

I have been a management committee member for South Tyneside Women’s Aid ( a charity providing accommodation and support for women and children fleeing domestic abuse) since first becoming a solicitor.
