Aidan is an experienced regulatory and commercial law practitioner, specialising in advising on data protection & cyber risk.  He is the data protection officer for DACB Dublin and has a broad range of experience in advising clients on GDPR implementation and data breach response.

Aidan advises regulators and public bodies, professional associations, professionals and insurers on professional regulatory and fitness to practise matters.

Aidan is an expert in sports law and represents the prosecutor of all anti-doping cases in Ireland, Sport Ireland. He has a detailed knowledge of disciplinary structures and procedures and has been involved in numerous cases before the Court of Arbitration for Sport.

Aidan has authored a chapter in Sports Betting: Law and Policy (Asser International Sports Law Series) TMC Asser Press. He is a tutor on the Law Society of Ireland's Sports Law Diploma Course and has written for publications such as the Sunday Independent, Sunday Business Post and Irish Pharmacy Union Review. He has appeared on TV3, as well as a variety of radio stations.
