Michael heads up our national Travel team and is based in London. He qualified as a solicitor in 1991.

Heavily involved in jurisdictional issues, Michael acts for insurance companies and blue-chip corporates including coach companies and travel businesses. He has over 25 years’ experience.

Michael is highly regarded for his experience in defending multi-party and group actions. He has a strong reputation for handling claims involving catastrophic loss and fatalities and has been involved in many leading reported cases.

Michael has a reputation for delivering a sensible, constructive approach to dispute resolution as well as for bringing a personal touch to the successful handling of the most complex and challenging claims.

Michael lectures on various topics at a number of industry events, including as an industry specialist speaker at the ABTA Travel Law Conference in London. He also contributes articles to various publications on topical issues including the defence of fraudulent claims, the extension of fixed costs to accidents overseas and disability rights law.
