Dentons Egypt established a business presence in 1964, and is the oldest international law firm in Egypt. The office is run in association with the Afifi Law Office, an Egyptian law firm founded by the late Counsellor Ahmed Safaa El Din El Oteifi, the former vice president of the Court of Cassation (Egypt’s highest court), and Mr Amal Afifi Dawood, a renowned litigator and legal specialist, as well as 12 senior/assistant Egyptian attorneys. Dentons provides a comprehensive range of services to multinational groups, private companies and investors in a wide variety of businesses and industries, financial institutions and funds, as well as governments and international organizations doing, or looking to do, business in Egypt.
