Career
As a Lawyer in the Corporate/Securities Group at Dentons Canada and a member of the firm’s Venture Technology and Emerging Growth Companies team, Chase’s practice focuses primarily on corporate law and transactional matters (both domestic and cross-border) including corporate finance transactions, mergers and acquisitions, private placements and a broad range of securities, commercial and business law matters. Chase has significant industry experience in the technology and venture capital sectors and regularly advises well-established and knowledge-based, emerging technology companies, as well as their investors and shareholders, in all stages of growth from pre-startup to founder formation/business organization through to exit, while also extensively counseling entrepreneurs and companies on corporate governance matters and their practical day-to-day legal needs. Chase also assists non-profit and charitable entities in their corporate governance and compliance matters and remains active in the community through his Board of Director and Officer positions with a Canadian registered charity and through volunteer engagements and affiliations with various community associations, organizations and regional technology and innovation initiatives.
