Career

Igor Danilov is a counsel in Dentons’ Brussels office and a member of the EU / competition, regulatory and trade practice groups. Igor has extensive experience in Brussels since 2004 in international trade law and regulatory legislation in the EU, CIS, Russia/EAEU (Eurasian Economic Union) and other jurisdictions worldwide. His main practice areas include international trade, customs, industrial and agricultural policy, product regulatory and safety laws as well as WTO agreements and practices.

Igor has substantial experience advising corporate clients and national governments on various aspects of regional trade agreements and bilateral trade issues, international public law matters, multilateral trade negotiations, trade related aspects of competition laws and policies, subsidies and state support, GSP regimes, rules of origin, customs classification and facilitation, on-line sales, general SPS and TBT topics. Igor also focuses on various aspects of the EU and EAEU/Russian chemical regulatory legislation, including on REACH, RoHS, WEEE, eco-labeling, (bio-) pesticides, biocidal products, organic production and compliance with national safety and environmental standards for goods. Igor is admitted to practice in both Russia and Belgium.
