Monica Song practices with Dentons’ Communications and Entertainment | Sports | Media Sector Groups and the Litigation and Dispute Resolution Practice Groups.

Monica has recognized expertise as a regulatory lawyer and administrative law litigator across a broad range of sectors. She has appeared before a number of federal and provincial regulatory agencies and before the Federal Court of Canada and provincial superior and appeal courts in judicial proceedings to review department, agency and board decisions.

Recommended by Chambers Global: The Guide to the World’s Leading Lawyers for Business as a leading lawyer in Telecommunications and Broadcasting, Monica’s communications practice advises clients and appears in proceedings before the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC), public utility boards, and superior courts to resolve disputes.

Prior to entering private practice, Monica clerked with Justice John Charles Major of the Supreme Court of Canada. She has also interned at the Québec Court of Appeal for Justice Paul Arthur Gendreau and is fluently bilingual.
