Career

David is an associate in Dentons’ Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice group with a developing practice in the areas of Aboriginal law, commercial litigation and general civil litigation.

Prior to joining Dentons, David clerked for the Honourable J.D. Denis Pelletier at the Federal Court of Appeal in Ottawa. In that position, he gained experience in a wide range of appellate matters, including Aboriginal law, administrative law, patent law and tax law. David also spent summers working with a prominent law firm in Saskatoon and in the Office of the Deputy Minister of Alberta Treasury Board and Finance.

As a law student, David was an editor of the Saskatchewan Law Review, a member of the Phillip C. Jessup International Law Moot Team and served as Vice-President Academic and Vice-President External of the Law Students’ Association. He also interned with the Office of the University Secretary at the University of Saskatchewan.
