Ryan specializes in the areas of banking and finance, where he regularly provides counsel to international and domestic lenders and borrowers in all areas of debt financing transactions, including syndicated financings, acquisition financings, bond financings, real estate financings, asset-based lending, securitizations, project finance and subordinated/mezzanine financings.

Ryan also frequently provides counsel to international insurers, brokers and insureds in the use and negotiation of representation and warranty insurance in various corporate transactions.  Further, Ryan regularly provides counsel to his corporate clients with respect to mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, and other corporate matters.

Prior to attaining his law degree, Ryan was employed with Pepsi Co. for three years, holding various managerial positions in both the sales and operations departments. Throughout his post-secondary education, Ryan has worked and studied in various countries throughout the world, including Ireland, Sweden and Thailand.

Ryan’s international business experience allows him to provide his clients with practical, creative and timely advice and the understanding that being a good lawyer is more than simply providing good legal service to his clients but also acting as their trusted partner to help them build their respective businesses in whatever way that is needed..
