Career

Neil Rabinovitch is a member of the Litigation and Dispute Resolution group of Dentons’ Toronto office. His practice focuses on commercial litigation and insolvency with an emphasis on cross-border restructurings, shareholder disputes, franchising, mortgage remedies, banking, real estate, commercial leasing, and product liability defence litigation.

Neil acts for a diverse range of clients including large groups of bondholders, franchisors in a variety of industries, financial services companies, developers and construction companies. He is lead litigation counsel to a multinational architectural and engineering firm. He also acts for debtors, creditors and Boards of Directors in complicated cross-border restructurings. Neil regularly advises clients on all aspects of dispute resolution and he brings a practical ''hands on'' approach using the Alternative Dispute Resolution process. Neil has litigated in all levels of courts.

Neil has lectured and written for the annual Franchising Expo. He has also lectured and written on mortgage remedies and construction liens for the Technical University of Nova Scotia and co-authored a text relating to power of sale. Neil is active in the management of the firm. He is recognized by Best Lawyers in Canada as one of Canada’s leading lawyers in the area of Insolvency and Financial Restructuring Law.
