Derek Levinsky (He/Him/His) is a partner in Dentons’ Corporate group and Insurance sector practice.

Derek’s work focuses on corporate and regulatory matters, with an significant emphasis on cross-border mergers and acquisitions and commercial transactions, including assumption reinsurance transactions and reinsurance security arrangements. In the insurance sector, he has experience advising on complex, high-value cross-border transactions and structuring joint venture arrangements. Derek knows that insurance law is constantly evolving, and his expertise in the sector enables him to understand the business of insurance industry participants and help clients implement creative solutions for their respective legal needs.

Derek has authored articles and led seminars on emerging topics in insurance law.
