Dr. Carsten Steinhauer, LL.M. is a partner in Dentons’ Rome and Milan offices and Co-Head of Europe Energy Sector Group.

Carsten is a transactional lawyer who focuses on mergers and acquisitions, private equity and project development transactions in a broad range of industries, frequently with a cross-border element.

Carsten has specific expertise and extensive experience in the energy sector, where he is recognized as one of the most notable lawyers in Italy. He advises international clients on structuring and negotiating the development, construction, operation, maintenance and financing of renewable energy and energy efficiency projects.

Carsten is admitted to the Italian and German bar and has been practicing as a lawyer (avvocato) in Italy for nearly 20 years.
