Career

Greg leads our employment and health and safety team in Wellington. He advises central and local Government, private enterprise and not-for-profit organisations on all aspects of employment and health and safety issues.

Greg assists clients on day-to-day employment matters such as resolving personal grievances. He can also help resolve more complicated issues involving collective bargaining and industrial action, or large scale restructurings. He also frequently carries out – or advises on – workplace investigations.

He advises clients on a wide range of health and safety issues, including investigating serious incidents, and represents them in WorkSafe investigations and prosecutions. Greg has provided extensive advice and training on dealing with earthquake prone buildings and the legal implications of the Health and Safety at Work Act, including advising on governance, contractor management, and culture and engagement. He has also advised a number of clients on asbestos and hazardous substances issues.

Greg is recommended by Legal 500. He is published widely and is regularly asked to speak at conferences and seminars.
