Career

Henry is an experienced lawyer who specialises in private wealth and financial services.

Henry’s advisory practice encompasses family trusts, foreign trusts, residency by investment, estate planning, relationship property agreements, collective investment schemes, unit trusts, superannuation schemes and employee share schemes. He is one of only a few New Zealand lawyers with true experience and expertise in international wealth structuring.

Henry assists trustees, financial institutions, accountants and other law firms to manage fiduciary risk and regulatory compliance. He is an expert in FATCA/CRS, AEOI and AML/CFT and one of only a few lawyers in New Zealand to have experience and genuine expertise in these complex compliance regimes.

Henry also has a contentious element to his practice and he is involved in the resolution of trust related disputes, the interplay between trusts and relationship dissolution and applications to court for orders relevant to trusts. Henry has represented clients in a number of reported judgments.
