Dr. Carsten Steinhauer, LL.M. is a partner in Dentons’ Rome and Milan offices and Co-Head of Europe Energy Sector Group.

Carsten Steinhauer is a highly regarded transactional lawyer, who assists Italian and international clients in project development, acquisitions, disposals, joint ventures, and financing transactions in the energy and infrastructure sectors. He also has in-depth knowledge and experience with power purchase agreements (PPA), both physical and virtual.  His clients include project developers, EPC and O&M contractors, manufacturing companies, banks, asset managers, private investors, and investment funds.

Carsten has specific expertise and extensive experience in the renewables sector, where he is recognized as one of the most notable lawyers in Italy.

Carsten is admitted to the Italian and German bar and has been practicing as a lawyer (avvocato) in Italy for over 20 years.
