Associate - Candidate civil-law notary

As a deputy candidate civil-law notary and senior associate, Jan de Wit focuses on family law and corporate issues, manages various types of cases. Jan is well organized and cooperates flexibily with both colleagues and clients.

With regard to the Dutch family law, Jan is involved with drafting , amongst others, last wills, prenuptial and gifts agreements. Furthermore, the practice advises on estate settlements. Regarding the corporate department, Jan is involved with corporate restructuring documentation, incorporations of new legal entities and legal mergers. The interface of family law and corporate law has Jan’s special interest.

Jan represents mostly high net worth individuals and both large and mid-large companies.

Jan graduated with a Master’s degree in both Dutch tax law and notarial law. In his personal live, Jan is chairman of the youth committee of his local tennis association, as tennis is one of his big passions. Next to that, Jan organizes several social and sport-related activities with colleagues and is very much involved with padel at the Amsterdam office.
