Career

Gayle Denman focuses her practice on trademark and other intellectual property matters, including trademark clearance, prosecution, maintenance, and enforcement. Ms. Denman has represented individual and corporate clients in a variety of industries, including media, entertainment, emerging technology, health care, fashion, and professional sports. She has experience drafting and negotiating a variety of intellectual property-related agreements and advising clients on trademark filing strategy, proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board, and various other aspects of building and protecting brands in the United States and abroad.

Prior to joining Dechert, Ms. Denman served as an associate in the trademark and intellectual property practices of a leading national firm where she was named an Empire State Counsel of the New York Bar Association for substantial pro bono services. Her previous experience also includes working in the intellectual property and technology group of another international firm.
