Career

Glenn A. Gundersen is a nationally recognized authority in trademark and copyright law and intellectual property transactions, and the author of the leading legal treatise Trademark Searching, first published in 1994. Mr. Gundersen's clients in the United States and abroad hold some of the world’s largest trademark portfolios, and he has cleared and protected world-famous brands. He also advises clients on prosecution, fair use, licensing, IP acquisitions, opposition and cancellation proceedings, infringement disputes, and advertising and right of publicity law.

Mr. Gundersen is the author of the book Trademark Searching (2nd Edition), an expert guide on clearance published by the International Trademark Association, and a co-author of the book Intellectual Property Assets in Mergers & Acquisitions, published by John Wiley.

Mr. Gundersen has been a frequent speaker at intellectual property seminars conducted by virtually every leading organization in the United States, including the American Bar Association, the Practicing Law Institute, the American Corporate Counsel Association, the International Trademark Association, the American Intellectual Property Law Association, the American Conference Institute, and the National CLE Conference, and intellectual property bar groups in several major cities.
