Marc Seimetz, managing partner of the firm's Luxembourg office, focuses on financial law (including investment funds), company and commercial law, and contract law, advising clients on the incorporation of investment funds and companies, regulatory approvals, corporate documents, contracts, listings, offering of securities, mergers, and liquidations. He also provides advice on labour law to corporations. Mr. Seimetz advises clients on determining the most effective fund structures and on the incorporation, ongoing compliance and eligibility of investments of Luxembourg UCITS, “part II” funds, risk-capital funds (SICAR), securitisation vehicles and specialised investment funds (SIF), including hedge funds, funds of funds, real estate funds. He assists with the registration and on-going compliance process for foreign UCITS in Luxembourg.
