Career

Kenneth E. Young focuses his practice on mergers and acquisitions, with a particular emphasis on private equity and public company M&A, securities offerings of equity and debt, and general corporate matters. Mr. Young’s clients include private equity sponsors, strategic buyers and sellers in industry sectors such as technology, financial services, energy, and healthcare; investment banks; and commercial banks.

In particular, Mr. Young has decades of experience advising on domestic and cross-border transactions for private equity firms. Mr. Young also devotes a significant portion of his practice to advising alternative asset managers regarding efforts to diversify their businesses, including through permanent capital vehicles, such as Business Development Companies (BDCs), closed-end funds and other products. Mr. Young advises on strategic transactions involving asset managers as well as the broader financial services industry.
