Start is a Director in Cleaver Fulton Rankin’s Corporate & Commercial team.

Stuart advises clients from a range of sectors, including manufacturing, finance & banking, energy & renewables, technology, property, retail, and media. Stuart works to really understand his clients’ commercial needs in order to deliver practical, efficient and straightforward advice.

Career

Stuart joined Cleaver Fulton Rankin as a Director in September 2022. Prior to joining the firm, Stuart worked as in-house Legal Counsel for a large bank for four years. He has also previously worked at two Belfast-based commercial law firms.

Stuart qualified at London law firm SA Law in 2011, and spent five years practicing in London before returning to Belfast in 2014.

Memberships

Stuart is a member of the Law Society of Northern Ireland and the Law Society of England and Wales.

Education

Stuart has an LLB in Law and an LLM in Human Rights Law from Queen’s University Belfast. He also completed the Legal Practice Course at the Oxford Institute of Legal Practice.
