Emma is widely recognised for her expertise in Commercial Litigation. Her client base spans property, financial services, manufacturing, construction and Ports and Harbours.

She has a particular specialism in complex property disputes (often high-value and involving advice on injunctive relief), banking litigation and intellectual property disputes.

Adding to our well-established reputation in the area of media and defamation, Emma has also developed a practice in advising on issues arising out of the use of social media and other online forums.

Her focus is on achieving the best result for her client. This may involve the use of alternative dispute resolution procedures such as mediation and arbitration.

Emma has been appointed to the Supreme Court of Judicature Rules Committee in Northern Ireland.

In addition, Emma is a member of the Property Litigation Association (PLA), a UK wide association for lawyers specialising in property litigation.
