Sarah Tauman provides sophisticated employment advice and counseling for a wide range of employers. She also provides employment guidance on a variety of transactional matters and has worked on a large number of complex corporate transactions, spanning private equity, emerging company, capital markets and public company work.
Sarah works on employment issues that arise at every stage of the corporate lifecycle, such as foundational questions raised by first-time founders, conflicts that commonly attend the growing pains of mid-sized companies, and the implementation of formal policies that precedes a sale or initial public offering. She regularly provides guidance related to the negotiation of executive employment arrangements, performance management and employee terminations, proper classification of workers, wage and hour compliance, leave obligations and ADA accommodation, reductions-in-force, personnel policies and employee mobility.
While focusing her practice on the tech sector, Sarah has experience advising companies across industries and throughout the US, including healthcare, life sciences, financial services and consumer goods. She takes a business-minded approach to partnering with the companies she counsels, offering efficient, pragmatic guidance in consideration of individual needs.
