Career

Lamia Naamoune has been with L&P Partners since its creation. She is involved in mergers and acquisitions, as well as complex litigation and arbitration.

Over the past seven years, Lamia has advised several international companies in the fields of public procurement, telecommunications and pharmaceuticals. She has also represented companies in international arbitration proceedings in the field of EPC contracts.

She has advised several foreign investors in setting up joint ventures with Algerian private and public companies.

EXPERIENCE

Advising Novo Nordisk on their projects in Algeria; Counsel to Johnson & Johnson on a wide range of legal issues; Counsel to Veon in major civil and administrative litigation, as well as in a number of regulatory matters concerning telecommunications law; Representation of Technip against Sonatrach before the ICC in a dispute concerning the consequences of the termination of an EPC contract; Counsel to a European company involved in several projects relating to the construction of 2 power plants and related services in ICC arbitration and pre-litigation proceedings prior to CACI arbitration; Counsel to a project company operating a 1227 MW power plant and its majority shareholders in an ICC arbitration based in Paris, against the purchaser of the electricity production.
