Steven Aldrich has proven experience in major M&A, projects and energy deals.

Before joining L&P Partners, Steven worked at a large Algerian independent firm in Algiers, as well as in other international law firms in Paris.

EXPERIENCE

Advising SINOPEC, a major Chinese state-owned oil company, on its upstream operations in Algeria. Advising Ontex Group, a leading international group in the personal hygiene industry, in the context of the disposal of its Algerian affiliate. Advising Stellantis, notably, in the setting-up of its CBO business and construction/assembly project of Fiat manufactured automobiles in Algeria. Advising Neptune Energy Group on its entry into an exclusivity agreement under which it proposes to acquire ENGIE E&P International S.A. (“EPI”) for $3.9 billion Neptune, backed by funds advised by The Carlyle Group (through its Carlyle International Energy Partners platform), CVC Capital Partners Fund VI and a group of co-investors would acquire a majority shareholding in EPI from France’s ENGIE Group; Advising for Occidental Petroleum Corporation in connection with the acquisition of Anadarko Petroleum Corporation upstream and downstream petroleum activities in Algeria, including structuring the deal and all Algerian law regulatory aspects; and Advising for Occidental Petroleum Corporation in connection with the sale of its African assets, including structuring the deal and all Algerian law regulatory aspects related to the Algerian assets.
