Position

Rune Hamborg provides advice on all aspects of Danish and EU competition law. He is also a member of the Committee of Representatives of the Association of Danish Law Firms.

Rune advises Danish as well as international enterprises on competition-law issues, including the conclusion of trade agreements, matters of criminal liability for breach of competition law and merger control. In addition, he deals with issues relating to aviation, railway transport and the distribution of pharmaceuticals.

Rune’s clients include Copenhagen Airport, Deutsche Bahn and Celesio / McKesson and he has acted in cases such as the so-called Terminal A case and the railway accident on the Great Belt Bridge in 2019.

Furthermore, he has vast experience in lecturing on competition law and international law as well as on the code of conduct for lawyers. He also lectures at the Danish Institute for IPR Training.

Moreover, Rune has authored a number of articles on competition-law issues.
