Hernán Velarde is a partner at DLA Piper Peru and leads the Real Estate practice area. He has extensive experience in zoning, urban planning, construction, administrative-municipal and corporate law.

He also focuses on M&A transactions in the real estate sector and real estate finance and provides general legal counsel to real estate developers. In recent years, Hernan has obtained relevant experience in the hospitality and leisure sector by advising clients in hotel, marina, gym, and country club development and operations.

Likewise, Hernán advises real estate developers on project legal planning and drafting and negotiating complex and day-to-day contracts such as land purchase and sale agreements, lease agreements, real estate trust agreements, surface, usufruct and easement agreements, credit agreements, and construction contracts.
