Career

Tony represents new and established satellite and communications companies. He has assisted numerous NewSpace companies, including many smallsat entrepreneurs, in obtaining spectrum and imaging licenses and addressing other regulatory matters for novel satellite services, such as radiofrequency sensing and geolocation; mission extension; synthetic aperture radar, hyperspectral and multispectral imaging; on-orbit transportation and deployment; Internet of Things (IoT); weather forecasting; and orbital debris removal. He also has more than a decade of experience advising traditional satellite companies that provide fixed-satellite service, broadcasting-satellite service and mobile-satellite service on regulatory and other satellite matters.

Tony advises companies on policy and regulatory matters before US federal bodies and international organizations, including the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), the National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA), the Department of Commerce, the Department of State, and the International Telecommunication Union (ITU). He is currently serving a second term on the NOAA Advisory Committee on Commercial Remote Sensing (ACCRES), which advises NOAA on the regulation of commercial satellites conducting imaging operations in space.
