Career

John Daiwon Huh focuses his practice on litigation, government investigations and compliance, concentrating in the fields of antitrust and trade regulation.

John has over a decade of litigation & alternate dispute resolution experience that includes successfully representing clients dealing with antitrust claims, class action lawsuits, business/economic torts, commercial claims, and False Claims Act & other fraud claims. He also has substantial experience litigating matters involving restrictive covenants (e.g., non-compete & non-solicitation provisions).

In addition, John has extensive experience representing individuals and companies in government investigations conducted by state and federal agencies, including the Federal Trade Commission, the Department of Justice, the Securities & Exchange Commission and state Attorneys General.

John also counsels clients on global competition and trade regulation issues. He frequently assists companies in developing and implementing global compliance policies and procedures. He routinely oversees and conducts training sessions and legal risk assessments of clients' business practices and strategies.

John additionally counsels clients by providing analyses on the competitive effects of potential mergers and acquisitions, as well as other business decisions. He regularly navigates clients through the process of reporting proposed transactions to the federal antitrust agencies under the HSR Act.

John chairs the Philadelphia office's Diversity & Inclusion Committee. He also serves on the Hiring Committee.
