Catherine has nearly 15 years' experience in private patent practice. Her field of expertise is chemical and biochemical subject matter. She has extensive experience and a broad client base, from individual inventors through to multinationals, handling patent drafting and prosecution, as well asn EPO opposition and appeal proceedings.

Catherine's expertise covers a range of chemical and biochemical subject matter, in particular engine oils, lubricants, petrol additives, ink technology, food chemistry, nutrition, oral and personal care products, polymer chemistry, analytical chemistry (particularly mass spectrometry), proteomics, protein chemistry, pharmaceuticals, medical devices and diagnostics.
