Samantha handles a full range of patent work, ranging from prosecuting patent applications for a wide range of clients, drafting patent applications, handling opposition and appeal work, as well as instructing attorneys in various jurisdictions worldwide.  She regularly represents her clients before the Opposition Division and the Board of Appeal and has been involved in intervention proceedings.

She is experienced in a variety of fields, including pharmaceuticals, consumer products, inks and materials.  She helps with the recruitment of new attorneys and is heavily involved in training and managing new trainees.

Samantha joined Elkington + Fife in 2009 and qualified as a UK and European patent attorney in record time in 2012, passing all examinations first time.  She was in the top ten overall for her EQE results.  Before joining E+F, Samantha undertook a year in industry at GlaxoSmithKline, where she focused on pharmaceutical chemistry.
