Rike Dekker is a highly experienced IP professional who has worked internationally in private practice and industry. She enjoys building relationships with her clients so that she can provide valuable, strategic IP advice. Even in private practice, she helps companies as if she is their in-house counsel. She has an open and curious personality and likes to work with all kinds of people and businesses, especially in a global context with different nationalities and cultures. She speaks English, French and Dutch fluently. She is familiar with most aspects of patents, both in terms of IP strategy and defense, including litigation, and also drafting and prosecution.

She has experience working for multinationals, SME’s, universities (TTO’s) and startups.In terms of technology, she has experience with IP in different areas of chemistry and chemical technology, food technology, (bio)materials, pharmaceuticals and nutrition.
