Andreas is an expert in the  drafting and prosecution of patent applications, with expertise in software, telecommunications, medical devices, process engineering and mechanical engineering.

Since 2003, Andreas has worked in the field of intellectual property, focusing on the different aspects of obtaining, defending and enforcing national and international patents, especially in the areas of general industrial engineering, automotive technique, tool technology, aerospace industry, medical technology, as well as telecommunication, national and international trade mark and industrial design law. He also has experience in the field of IoT as well as neural networks, deep learning and artificial intelligence (AI). Andreas’ in-house experience in the patent office of Henkel AG means he has an enviable reputation for building strong relationships with clients in order to help create and develop their IP strategies.

English and German

Andreas has a degree in mechanical engineering with an emphasis on process engineering from the Technical University of Munich and began his career in the patent department of Henkel KGA, where he was responsible for patents and designs.
