Recent and ongoing clinical negligence actions include cases arising out of the debacle ?in paediatric cardiac services in Bristol in the 1980s and 1990s (see ?Telles v South West Strategic Health Authority [2008] EWHC 292 ?(OB)) and cases involving birth injuries of maximum severity (Canning-Kishver v Sandwell & West Birmingham Hospitals NHS Trust [2008] 2384 (QB).
