Prosecution and defence.

Erin joined Chambers in October 2024 after the successful completion of her pupillage.

Erin regularly appears in the Crown and Magistrates’ Courts, both prosecuting and defending. Her experience covers a broad range of general crime. Erin also prosecutes on behalf of Local Authorities.

Prior to commencing pupillage, Erin worked as a Clerk to a High Court Judge at the Royal Courts of justice. As part of her role, Erin accompanied the High Court Judge on Circuit, acting as the first line of support to His Lordship/Her Ladyship in a number of murder cases.

Before her role at the Royal Courts of Justice, Erin was a Legal Assistant for a King’s Counsel who specialised in criminal defence. As part of this role, she worked on trials and appeals for offences including murder, offences against the person, and sexual assault. Erin has also assisted with the drafting of applications to the Court of Appeal.

Erin read Law at University, where she received several awards for her contribution to the Kent Law Clinic for her work as a Student Caseworker.
