David’s practice is built on his knowledge of European Union, human rights, public and constitutional law, developed with the help of skills learned working in Washington DC and Brussels. He became expert in national security law when serving as independent reviewer of terrorism legislation, and continues to combine parliamentary activities with practice in Strasbourg and the higher UK courts.
