Called 2002; judicial assistant to Lord Justice Mummery, Court of Appeal (Michaelmas term 2004); joint runner-up (with Took’s Court) for Bar Pro Bono Unit Award 2004 (for providing pro bono advocacy for Bail for Immigration Detainees, Law for All and Bar Pro Bono Unit); first six pupillage at Doughty Street, second six at Cloisters; legal internships in department of international protection UNHCR Headquarters, Geneva (Summer 2001) and AIRE Centre, London (2001-02), providing free legal advice on human rights and European law; has written articles for ‘Solicitors Journal’ and ‘Legal Week’, ‘Claims Management’, ‘Personal Injury Law Journal’, ‘Clinical Risk’ (official publication of AVMA) and commentaries for Lawtel; has provided tailored training/updating for solicitors, and in-house seminars for Chambers’ events.
