Barrister and chartered arbitrator. Insurance, engineering and construction, energy, and other commercial disputes. Main focus of current work is as arbitrator in international arbitrations.

Member of Practice and Standards Committee of Chartered Institute of Arbitrators 2006-2012, Chairman of TECBAR 2007-2010, Head of Crown Office Chambers 2009-2012, Deputy High Court Judge (England and Wales), Judge of the Upper Tribunal, Tax and Chancery Chamber (Financial Services) and Administrative Appeals Chamber (Information Rights), Bencher of Middle Temple.
