Position

Archna specialises in financial remedy and private law work. In matrimonial finance, she undertakes work in medium to large-asset cases and is regularly instructed at an early stage in order to assist with the smooth running of a case in particular on the issues of disclosure. In private law matters Archna represents parents and guardians in complex residence/contact disputes in cases where allegations of physical and sexual abuse are made, ‘implacably hostile’ mothers and issues of children being ‘coached’ to make up allegations against another parent. Archna has a particular interest and experience in cases with clients from different ethnic backgrounds. She can conduct conferences in Hindi. Archna was a tenant in a thriving set of chambers in Bristol for over 10 years and has now returned to her ‘home roots’ and joined Deans Court Chambers.
