Position
Nick Courtney enjoys a busy practice in general crime and regulatory work, for both prosecution and defence. His particular specialist areas are fraud, money laundering, Health and Safety, and serious sexual offences. Nick is regularly instructed in relation to complex and multi-handed Crown Court cases involving allegations of fraud or money laundering by professionals, either alone or as leading junior, and has considerable experience in relation to confiscation proceedings under POCA 2003. His general criminal practice spans the full criminal calendar up to and including murder, and commonly involving the most serious sexual offences where, again, he is often instructed in relation to complex and multi-handed cases. In the regulatory sphere, Nick specialises in Health and Safety work involving both individuals and corporations, and has appeared, either alone or led, in cases of the utmost seriousness and with a high media profile.
