Saiful Islam

3DJB, London

Career

Saiful is a member of the Lincoln’s Inn and was Called to the Bar in 2005. He specialises in all areas of family and children law although he has a particular interest in representing parents in public law children matters. He has been instructed in many complex and high profile cases some of which have received mainstream media attention. He is regularly instructed by reputable firms of solicitors from London and the South East, though he covers cases from outside of these areas too. Indeed, Saiful is also instructed directly by the public under the Public Access Scheme.

Saiful is a highly competent and persuasive advocate with robust cross-examination skills. As a respected member of the Bar, colleagues have described him as a ‘model advocate’ and ‘a terrier’ and thus see him as a formidable opponent. Judges view him as ‘valiant’ and ‘thorough’ and to his clients he is ‘fantastic’, ‘nice’, ‘easy to speak to’, ‘friendly' and 'down to earth’.
