Career

Anushka became a full member of chambers in April 2017 following a successful third six pupillage and welcomes instructions across all areas of Chambers’ practice.

 

Anushka completed her pupillage in family and civil law and continues to develop her practice in these areas, including private children, care proceedings and financial remedy. Her family practice includes representing clients in applications to secure injunctive relief under the Family Law Act. She is instructed to advise in infancy approvals, small claims civil matters, MOJ Stage 3 quantum hearings, the drafting of grounds in judicial review challenges and accepts instructions in professional discipline work. Anushka is qualified as a CPS Panel 1 Advocate. She has regularly appeared in the Magistrates and Youth courts, handling a wide range of cases involving multiple defendants, vehicle interference, domestic violence, assault and criminal damage.
