Career

Before transferring to the Bar, Laurence was a seasoned commercial dealmaker, heading up procurement teams for several companies. His breadth of life experience underpins his work. He has performed over 10,000 hours of negotiation, his style informed by, among others, The Black Swan Group and The Gap Partnership.

He is passionate about advocating for people who are facing extreme and challenging life issues. He has chaired a charity, and worked directly with countless homeless and vulnerable people.

His calm manner, his sensitive and compassionate approach, and his incisive and compelling advocacy have won praise for him and, most importantly, results in Court for Laurence’s clients.
