Career

Before life at the bar, Georgia worked for nine years in the women's charity sector; her most recent role was as a team leader for the National Domestic Abuse Helpline.

Georgia has supported clients within complex needs refuges, provided outreach to LGBTQI+ asylum seekers, and assisted solicitors at Greenwich Migrant Hub in supporting survivors with nil recourse to public funds.

Additionally, Georgia worked as a professional trainer, delivering presentations to the police and other professional bodies to increase competency and responses to domestic abuse within the LGBTQI+ community.

While pursuing her legal qualifications, Georgia provided pro bono support for the National Centre for Domestic Violence in assisting applicants in obtaining protective injunctions. She was also a student director of the School Exclusion Project, which provides pro bono representation to the parents of children permanently excluded from school.
