Career

Cathryn deals with a wide range of complex private client and contentious probate disputes including, but not limited to, validity disputes, undue influence claims, Beddoe applications, executor/trustee disputes, 1975 act claims and disputes surrounding the assets within the estate.

Cathryn has worked for Executors/Trustees and beneficiaries alike, including private individuals and charities.

She is personable and empathetic. She understands the delicate nature of maintaining family relationships whilst ensuring the client receives their rightful inheritance. Cathryn is committed to resolving issues before the need for proceedings, always looking for practical solutions, but where early settlement is not possible, Cathryn also has the ability and experience to take matters to trial.

Cathryn is also a Trustee of Cherry Trees, a local charity providing home-from-home respite care for children and young adults with complex disabilities.

Cathryn works primarily in our Guildford office but also collaborates closely with colleagues in our other locations.
